Jammers Volleyball Club, established in 1996, is a Honolulu based competitive girls youth volleyball organization affiliated with the Aloha Region of USA Volleyball.
Jammers was founded by Debby Yee, a Cap 1 certified coach, training director and a former USAV High Performance Program coach.
Jammers’ emphasizes Coach Deb’s philosophy of mastering volleyball skills thought only appropriate for college-age players. A rigorous training program, commitment, teamwork, genuine caring and love for the game complete her formula for success. That formula, followed by all Jammers’ coaches and players, has produced one of the most successful club volleyball programs in the nation.
Since 2001, 30 Jammers’ teams ranging from U12 to U18 have qualified for the annual USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. In 2010, a record five Jammers’ teams competed in the National Championships in Reno, NV.
Coach Deb’s network of collegiate volleyball coaches enabled 32 Jammers’ student athletes to play NCAA volleyball. Some of the universities with Jammers’ players include: University of Nevada Reno, Pepperdine, Pacific, San Jose State, Long Beach State, Fairfield, St John’s University, Boston College, Washington University St Louis, Hawaii Pacific University, Adelphi University, Towson, Manhattan College, Rice University, Academy of Arts, HPU, UH, Cornell, St. Louis, Amberst, CW Post,and Claremount McKenna College.
